VAST Horizon is a sci-fi drama podcast about a woman named Nolira. We learn more about her past while we experience her fight for survival in the present. As an audio drama podcast, the show features a full voice cast of actors from six continents, immersive sound design, and a fully scripted story.
Season One introduces us to Nolira as she wakes up alone on a colony ship with numerous mission-critical problems, and discoveries made unfurl a larger story in seasons to come. Season One includes 10 episodes that range between 25-45 minutes in length, which are released for free every two weeks. The show is supported by listeners via Patreon, sales through our TeePublic merch store, and through our parternership with Himalaya.
Nolira is an agronomist tasked with establishing agriculture in a new solar system, but when she wakes up on a now-empty colony ship, the whole of her plan disappears. The ship has been set adrift, with numerous mission-critical problems requiring immediate attendance outside of her area of expertise. Nolira is aided by the ship’s malfunctioning AI, which acts as her confidant and companion during the fight for survival.
